Abdallah Ko is a writer, artist and traveler.
He was born in Lebanon and grew up in France. He writes in French and English.
In the 1990's after studies in comparative literature in Paris, he writes a book of short stories and a short novel.
In 2005, Ko presents a solo show of paintings and drawings in Beirut, Lebanon.
That same year he presents a 20 minutes sound performance inspired by the popular video game Starcraft.
In 2008, XEFM releases its only album. (The band is produced by Ziad Nawfal and includes musicians Tony Elieh, Charbel Haber and Fadi Tabbal.)
In 2009, the band composes and publically performs original soundtracks for two silent movies: The Man with a Movie Camera (1929) and The Adventures of Prince Achmed (1926).
During the Summer of 2009, Ko develops a unique project on Facebook. 'Beirut Police' (beirutpolice.com) is an interactive novel written in real time on the social network. During three months, the author plays the role of a self-proclaimed prophet on a mission to convert the population.

Abdallah Ko est écrivain, artiste et voyageur.
Il est né au Liban et a grandi en France. Il écrit en français et en anglais.
Dans les années 1990, après des études de littérature comparée à Paris, il écrit un recueil de nouvelles et un court roman.
En 2005, Ko présente une exposition de peintures et de dessins à Beyrouth, au Liban.
La même année, il présente une performance sonore de 20 minutes inspirée du jeu vidéo populaire Starcraft.
En 2008, XEFM sort son unique album. (Le groupe est produit par Ziad Nawfal et inclut les musiciens Tony Elieh, Charbel Haber et Fadi Tabbal.)
En 2009, le groupe compose et interprète publiquement des bandes-son originales pour deux films muets : L’Homme à la caméra (1929) et Les Aventures du prince Ahmed (1926).
Durant l’été 2009, Ko développe un projet unique sur Facebook. 'Beirut Police' (beirutpolice.com) est un roman interactif écrit en temps réel sur le réseau social. Pendant trois mois, l’auteur interprète un prophète autoproclamé en mission pour convertir la population.
